Okay, so it's only if you have Foxtel and the like as it's on Bio, but I can't wait to see what all the hype is about. Have a feeling it will be like the first time I walked into Hubby's garage after we got together - after the exwife (the problem) moved out.

Kaz, we have been watching hoarders for the last month here in the US and what an eye opener!!! I have never experienced having met someone who has this emotional problem and my heart really went out to these people, but sad to say it took a few episodes. I listened to what the psycologists on the show had to say and then I started really listening and watching and these people were terrified and broken. The show itself has not only taught me about this issue but helped me address a few of the emotional aspects of mine!

Bummer, you had me excited for a moment there Kaz in Oz - after almost 7 years without a TV we recently bought one (it means we get rid of 5 portable speakers and don't have to try watching a DVD on my laptop - difficult for two people on a couch at a distance). We don't have Foxtel (and don't intend to get it either).

I watch Hoarders on my computer from the A&E website. They usually put the current week's show online a day or two after it airs on TV.

Kaz, we're getting Hoarders in Hong Kong now. Thursday nights on Bio. Tomorrow is the third episode of the first series. As I thought it would be, it's a bit like watching the aftermath of car wreck and I feel a bit like I am rubbernecking. It doesn't stop me from watching, partly out of curiosity and partly because I would like to understand more about this form of OCD.

happymonkey - the A&E website tells me that the video I am trying to watch cannot be viewed from my current country or location. :-(

Oh, that's a shame! I just assumed (wrongly) that it would be available for viewing from anywhere.

laetitia, i run a proxy called netshade....it gives me a USA proxy IP for 12 months for twenty bucks or something.
and i've just watched a tiny bit of hoarders for the first time (thanks for the A&E tip!)...and i am so sad for those people.Posted 2 years ago # -
I'm waiting for it to show in the UK. I can't see it on the internet from here either!

I've tried to watch it online since I heard about it on Unclutterer, but I kept getting that message too Laetitia. bandicoot, I'll have to look into that though.

You can find a few clips on Youtube, not much though. I'm in two minds - I find these shows kind of interesting, and they certainly make me feel better about my own standard of housekeeping, but a lot of the time, they are so extreme that they are a little hard to relate to.
I also like the 'How Clean is Your House' I think it's called, with Kim and Aggie in the UK.
