I have a very good friend - has been married for 2 1/2 years. She moved into her husband's house so she has been recently tackling organizing the "bachelor pad". Her hubby is a great guy - very smart - runs his own business. But, not the most organized fellow. Guess you can't have it all!
Well, they have a hall closet where the hats, scarves and gloves get stashed on a shelf. The logical way would be to fold up everything neatly and place it on the shelf. Hubby's way - hang up the coat and throw everything else on the shelf!
Last Friday, it snowed (again!!!) here in Philly. Hubby had to go out and snowblow the driveway and sidewalk before heading to work. Surprise - surprise - he was missing a glove and had to dig around the closet before he found it on the floor in the back.
So, caring, loving wife that she is, my friend went out on Saturday and bought three baskets at Target - one each for hats, scarves, and gloves. She organized the closet shelf and showed hubby.
His response ----
"That's a bit of overkill - don't you think?"
You gotta love them!
